Winner of the 2013 Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition and mentioned three times as Jazzwise magazine’s “One to Watch 2014”, Tom Green is one of the most exciting young trombonists and composers currently active in the UK.
His Septet weaves together influences as diverse as flamenco, traditional folk and New Orleans second line, to form tunes with striking melodies, colourful harmony and propulsive grooves.
